Rooms are medium to large size. They are somewhat basic, but have all the usual amenities TV, fridge, tea and coffee facilities. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. A two storey wooden and stone building. The hotel consists of two wings with complimentary car parking seperating the two. Large lawn area to the front of the property. A small functional lobby area with some tourist information and an adjoining bar lounge. There has been a hotel on the same spot for over a 130 years. The current hotel has a variety of room types. An outdoor swimming pool, BBQ area , restaurant and complimentary parking make it ideal for those touring the northland generally or visiting whangarei.
